Jade Alice Carty is a classically trained singer and actor from South Yorkshire, passionate about storytelling through music. She holds a First Class Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the Royal Northern College of Music, where she studied under renowned soprano Sandra Dugdale.

Jade is currently based in Hong Kong, performing as a vocalist in Mickey and the Wondrous Book at Hong Kong Disneyland, where she will remain until September 2025. Prior to this, she was a featured soloist and First Soprano in the Thursford Christmas Spectacular, Europe’s largest Christmas show.

Her journey in the arts began with a childhood love of dance, evolving into a versatile performance career spanning theatre, opera, and concerts. She has appeared on ITV, BBC Radio, and performed at the O2 Arena. Jade has also sung for national events including Miss England, and worked as an actress at Disneyland Paris before her formal training at RNCM.

During her time at RNCM, Jade made her operatic debut in Janáček’s The Cunning Little Vixen, performing four roles as a solo dancer and chorus member. She has since played roles in opera scenes such as Serpina in La Serva Padrona and Zerlina in Don Giovanni, alongside numerous ensemble credits.

While rooted in classical music, Jade is equally at home in musical theatre and classical crossover. She enjoys performing a wide range of genres including pop, jazz, and gospel.

Jade is always open to new performance opportunities and creative collaborations, and is excited to continue connecting with fellow artists and professionals across the industry.
